  • The great park in downtown-
  • One really great place to take your wife or girlfriend is to the Goverment Own Jewelry Store.
  • It's was a fairly quiet spot when I was there last
  • A very pleasant place.
  • Maybe not right place fto visit with (probably to sensitive) girlfrend.

  • A quiet little getaway from the heat of the city!...Lumpini park is a nice little place to come and get away from the heat and humidity of the city.
  • This beautiful park, named after Buddha's birthplace in Nepal, spreads out over several green acres.

  • This is an amazing and big park in the Central of Bangkok and it´s actually one the few green longs in the city.

  • OK, so the actually transportation to the "break" was a harrowing one hour taxi ride
  • there was plenty of room to be by yourself too.
  • They also have a really good gift store as well, some nice things there to buy for folks back home.
  • Has some nice water features and plenty of seats to sit and watch the world go by.

  • you then have free arobics classes on the go, many locals jogging around the park
  • Instead, Silom Road offers one of the best coffee shops in Bangkok ....The Smiling Sun Ground is an area designed for the disabled, with no stairs, a special playground, parking lots and other special facilities.

  • Go to the only food area for a chinese/thai breakfast and some authentic thai coffee.

Atmosphere
  • Lumphini Park is a pleasant green space just northeast of the Silom Road area (a night-time shopping spot).

  • There are some small lakes in the park where you can rent a paddle boat for your romantic time with your beloved one.

  • trees, flowers, grass, lakes, creeks, quaint bridges, trails, benchesÂ.
  • All the greenery and water makes a nice contrast to all the concrete and traffic of much of the rest of Bangkok.
  • The area contained a very nice garden with bamboo, Palm and some huge trees.
  • A lovely oasis in the middle of this busy city.
  • I loved the view of the lake with a water fountain in the middle.

  • This park is a real green oasis in a city with such huge population and traffic jams.
  • Features The lush and green garden hosts two lakes and two ponds;...The Bird Watching Course allows enjoying the over thirty species of birds that inhabit the park.
