  • This mansion, the Casa Josep Batllo, is not to be confused with the Casa Enric Batllo (now the Hotel Condes de Barcelona) located just down the street.
  • The tour is slightly pricey but worth every penny.
  • It was truly a magical experience!

  • To the left and behind are some utterly hideous buildings, which probably date to the 1960s or 70s....For me its the perfect Gaudi building and, despite the price of entrance, I would still go back for another look.

  • The tour is slightly pricey but worth every penny.

  • A completely eccentric building well worth a look despite the steep entrance fee (about 14 euros).

  • However, it might have been better to take some time to get over the shock of €16 entry fee.

  • The audio guide was really helpful in telling us what exactly we were looking at, the story behind each part of the building, etc.
Facilities
  • There is a magnificent life and loads of incredible rooms.
  • In front of you is a magnificent curved wooden staircase rising up to the first floor.
Atmosphere
  • His architecture is very surreal and amazing.
  • The bold colors of the facade shimmer brilliantly on sunny mornings
  • you still get a great look of the fantastic interior decoration.
  • We had to queue for a short time to enter, paid our dues (they do student discount) and then you enter.
  • Its not a very big building and can easily get jam-packed with tourists quickly generating long queues.
Views
  • There is a nearby Pans & Company sandwich shop which has a great view of the front facade.
  • again, you are paying for an extraordinary sight.
