  • there is a monument honoring France's World War I unknown soldier.
  • Everything is crowded, tacky, overpriced, and awful.
  • The tomb is an interesting and reflective place -
  • a trip to the top of the Arc de Triomphe is every bit as rewarding.
  • terrible experience.
  • I loved the whole experience of Paris
  • Don't bother with the tour of the inside and the top, esp.

  • Good
Value
  • Secondly, much like other touristy monuments, film prices at the gift shops are expensive, so take plenty of film with you in advance.
  • Everything is crowded, tacky, overpriced, and awful.
  • All in all, the whole thing is great value.
  • Ticket prices are minimal, €9 for adults, and free for anyone under 18.
  • The price to go up to the top was a bit steep
Service
  • this is probably the only place where you will find the stereotypical rude French waiters.
  • It’s great to see the city, as well as the crazy French drivers on the roundabout below.
Facilities
  • Secondly, much like other touristy monuments, film prices at the gift shops are expensive, so take plenty of film with you in advance.
  • Also, marvel at 12 lanes of traffic surrounding the Arc de Triomphe.
  • We were even more amazed by the chaotic traffic around the base of the Arc de Triomphe!
  • I also recommend watching the traffic
  • We went under the street to avoid the heinous traffic
  • After getting into the Arc, I honestly didnÂ't see an elevator.
  • our hotel was right near l'Arc de Triomphe.

  • Another of the main sights in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe is conveniently located in the heart of the city.
  • everyone will be occupying it like a silly line of patients.
  • Lines weren't that bad when I was there last, so be wary of the crowds.
