- SydneyÂ's Royal Botanic Gardens quickly became my favorite place in the world to jog.
- for some reason it never gets appreciated as one of the greatest attractions of the city.
- It also makes for a good safe place to sit and relax or perhaps enjoy a picnic.
- Unless there is some ticketed event, a visit here is free to most of the areas.
- although that is frequently extended for concerts and other special events.
- The garden offers a free walking tour through the FREE botanic garden....The Wollemi pine, one of the oldest plants on earth was the highlight of the tour....The park is also just a great place to sit and eat lunch.
